Interview: “Recruiting and Retaining Talent is a Full Time Job and There Are No Shortcuts”
In an interview with Blog Emocional, Dina Mostovaya shared her experience and lessons learned as a female CEO.
During the interview, global communications expert and founder of Mindset Consulting discussed skills and characteristics that are essential for an entrepreneur. She noted that being strategic, leading ethically, taking risks and responsibility, as well as setting ambitious goals and having a growth mindset and passion for constant learning are crucial traits to succeed in today’s environment.
Dina also advised that for those who want to start a business, persistence is key. Drawing on her 15+ years of experience working with entrepreneurs, she explained that they face an almost endless stream of problems on a daily basis. However, she noted that successful entrepreneurs share one trait: the ability to cope with failures.
When asked about time management, Dina admitted being a work addict. She explained that her days are almost always different, but she has learned to divide her time properly and maintain a work-life balance. The key advice she offered is to know your priorities and use the “Wheel of Life” as a tool to ensure you pay enough attention to all aspects of yourself. In addition to this, Dina shared some hacks to maintain energy and productivity, such as dividing the workday into 30-minute intervals, keeping all tasks in one channel, practicing silence, exercising and meditating regularly, and investing in self-development by reading books on spiritual and personal growth.
As the founder and CEO of Mindset Consulting, Dina also revealed the company’s plans for the future. She said that Mindset aims to become one of the top 10 PR agencies in Europe, and work with more companies across the continent, as well as in the United States, Latin America, and expand to the Middle East. Through these ambitious intentions, Mindset will be able to support even more trailblazing entrepreneurs in their quest to remain competitive through high-level strategic communications.
